Red Room Bistro Grand Opening: Karlie Redd Brings Flavor, Culture & Glamour to Downtown Atlanta!

On Sunday, September 28th, actress, serial entrepreneur, and MTV’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Karlie Redd unveiled her latest venture, the highly anticipated Red Room Bistro, located at 255 Trinity Ave, Atlanta, GA 30303. The grand opening was nothing short of spectacular, blending culture, community, and culinary excellence in a celebration that marked a new chapter for Atlanta’s dining scene.

Karlie made a grand entrance alongside her daughter, Jasmine Ellis, greeted by a powerful drumline performance from the Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals. The energy was electric as guests gathered in their finest attire to witness the unveiling of a restaurant destined to become a staple in Atlanta’s nightlife and fine dining.

The event opened with a soul-stirring prayer by Pastor Stephanie Jennings of Harvest Tabernacle Church, followed by a heartfelt speech from State Representative Eric Bell II, who praised Karlie for her commitment to revitalizing Downtown Atlanta and creating job opportunities through her new venture. Over 100 guests attended, including Atlanta’s elite and celebrity friends.

Spice surprised Karlie with a heartfelt toast, celebrating her friend’s success and the vibrant energy of Red Room Bistro. Guests indulged in signature dishes crafted by Executive Chef Teddy Lopez, including:

Inspired by Karlie’s father and late stepmother, Red Room Bistro is more than a restaurant...it’s a tribute to legacy, love, and hospitality. Co-owned with fellow Trinidadian entrepreneur Ace Carrington, the duo previously found success with Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles and now aim to elevate Atlanta’s dining experience with a luxurious twist.

Ace, a self-taught restaurateur, has built a reputation for launching successful franchises across Atlanta, including Crescent City Kitchen and Spice House. His partnership with Karlie is rooted in shared values of quality, culture, and customer service.

“Atlanta often carries a stigma of poor service,” says Ace. “We want to change that narrative by setting a new standard.”
