The Dr. Leah Gordone Scholarship supports students, creators, and emerging leaders who are committed to community impact, storytelling, wellness, survivor advocacy, public health, journalism, and research that uplifts underserved communities. Created by researcher and media storyteller Dr. Leah Gordone, the scholarship invests in people whose work brings visibility, truth, and meaningful change to the communities they serve.

The program offers financial support to individuals enrolled in 2 or 4 year colleges, graduate programs, trade schools, and to applicants pursuing independent or community projects with a documented plan and budget. Funding may be used for tuition, research, equipment, software, production needs, or project development.

Recipients are chosen based on alignment with the mission, creativity, clarity of goals, responsible budgeting, and overall community impact. Through this initiative, Dr. Gordone continues her commitment to uplifting underrepresented stories, supporting emerging visionaries, and empowering work that heals, educates, and transforms communities.
