Dee Michelle Hosts A MasterClass On the Innovative Technique of Hair Technique K-Tips

On May 25, 2025, Dee Michelle (@deemichelle_) had an all-day K-Tip Masterclass for Beauty Professionals, hosted by radio host Jazzy McBee (@jazzymcbee). Attendees gained insight into the popular new hair technique K-tips and heard from branding and business funding experts. Love and Hip-Hop stars, including Beauty Mogul Yandy Smith-Harris (@yandysmith) and Attorney Kendra Robinson (@attorneykendra_robinson), also attended to give their expert advice.
The whole day was divided into two interactive sessions, where in the first half of the session they learned how to execute the Invisible #ktips method from Dee Michell, who used Robinson as a hair model for demonstration. In the second half of the sessions, attendees learned from Kay Moye (@iamkaymoye), a Branding and Marketing Mogul, and Whitney Cumbo (@bossywhit), a grand and business funding expert.
When talking about how someone first starting a business should go about getting a grant, Cumbo said “If you are a legalized business, the biggest advice I can tell you is to have an actual business and not just a hobby, a scalable business and that will put you in a position to get to the next level..a quality business plan and quality grant proposal and you should be in a good space. Moye also did a presentation demonstrating all the ways the attendees could elevate their businesses from improving their social media presence to having a marketing strategy ready for anything.
Smith-Harris was on the last panel of the day and she talked about her experience of being an entrepreneur/Beauty Mogul for many years. She discussed not only the sacrifices you have to make to be a successful entrepreneur; i.e. family time, time with friends, vacations, etc. Attendees left the event, with new knowledge about the K-Tips technique and how to grow the popularity, quality, and financial standing of their brand.
