Recently, Jatee Kearsley went viral on Twitter for her French-inspired pastry shop called Je T’ Aime Patisserie, located in Brooklyn, N.Y.
A tik-tok video made about Kearsley’s shop made it way to twitter, where she explains that her love of baking come from her being 14 and starting it out as a hobby. She goes on to say that she was the first person in her family to go to college and as a result, start her own business.
With her business, she also offers the option of purchasing with EBT. “Like I said, I grew up in the projects, I’m going to make sure my people are able to have access to amazing foods,” said Kearsley.
