Tragic Shooting Claims Life of 18-Year-Old Da’Mya Cummerlander in Columbus

Columbus, OH - A fatal shooting over the weekend has left an 18-year-old woman dead on the city’s Northeast Side, sparking a major investigation by the Columbus police.

Officers responded to the shooting around 12:35 a.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of Woodsedge Road. They found #DaMyaCummerlander, 18, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:44 a.m.

The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning. The shooting remains under investigation as detectives work tirelessly to piece together the events that led to this senseless act of violence.
