Pregnant mother of two found shot dead in home

In a heartbreaking incident, #KeyirraWalker, a 25-year-old pregnant mother of two, was discovered dead in her home on Carrol Drive in Sumter, South Carolina. The Sumter Police Department responded to the scene after family members found Walker unresponsive early Monday morning.

Family members called police shortly before 8 a.m. after finding Walker’s lifeless body. Walker was found deceased in her bedroom, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The incident appears to be an isolated homicide, likely carried out by someone she knew. Authorities are actively investigating the case, considering it an isolated incident. No forced entry was observed into Walker’s home.

Neighbors expressed their grief, remembering Walker as a sweet, outgoing young lady who loved spending time with her children. Russell Williams, a neighbor, lamented her loss and hoped for closure for her family.

The Sumter Police Department urges anyone with information to come forward. If you witnessed anything unusual in the Carrol Drive area overnight, please contact them immediately or provide an anonymous tip through Crimestoppers.
