Police identify victims in Winton Hills triple shooting

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — A tragic incident unfolded over the weekend in Winton Hills, leaving two people dead and a third hospitalized. The event is suspected to be a murder-suicide, according to Cincinnati police and the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

#ZyonnRelifordGilbert, 24, and #KevinBarton, 38, were found fatally shot in the 5200 block of Holland Drive early Saturday, as reported by the police. On Monday, the coroner’s office released a report indicating that a woman who was killed on Holland Drive on Saturday died as a result of an “apparent homicide,” and a male also died there on the same date in an “apparent suicide.” A handwritten arrow on the coroner’s report linked the two cases.

A police spokesman confirmed the coroner’s findings. “Correct, most likely a suspected murder-suicide as the coroner’s sheet states,” Lt. Jonathan Cunningham told FOX19 NOW.

A third person was found at the residence, suffering from head and chest injuries. This individual was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. As of Monday, Lt. Cunningham reported no change in the medical status of the sole surviving shooting victim.

The relationship of the surviving victim to the other two was not disclosed. As the investigation continues, the community is left grappling with this shocking incident. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
